The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 witnessed the launch of the All-New Seltos by Kia at ICE BSD City, Tangerang Regency, on Thursday (30/7/2026). This latest generation of the compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) arrives with a total overhaul in terms of design, performance, and the inclusion of cutting-edge technology to attract domestic consumers.

The car now adopts the latest K3 platform developed in collaboration between Hyundai and Kia, which was first introduced globally in late 2025. Thanks to this new chassis, the All-New Seltos has a longer wheelbase and wider body dimensions. This significant change directly impacts the cabin space, making it much more spacious and providing extra comfort for both driver and passengers during journeys.

In addition to offering ample space, the structure of the K3 platform is specifically designed to minimize Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). As a result, cabin quietness has improved drastically to deliver a smoother driving experience in various road conditions. Under the hood, this compact SUV is powered by a 1,500 cc Smartstream petrol engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), promising responsive performance while remaining fuel-efficient.

Safety is also a primary focus for Kia in this model, with the inclusion of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2 technology suite. One of its standout features is the Blind Spot View Monitor, which actively helps the driver monitor blind spots via the digital instrument panel as soon as the turn signal is activated.

For the Indonesian market, the All-New Seltos is offered in three variant options with on-the-road (OTR) Jakarta prices starting from IDR 359 million for the Trendy type, IDR 417 million for the Prestige+ ADAS variant, and the highest GT Line type priced at IDR 469 million. This comprehensive refresh is expected to strengthen Kia's position in the highly competitive compact SUV segment in the country.
