PT Kereta Api Logistik (KAI Logistik) reported positive achievements in its retail business sector through the KALOG Express service. During the first half of 2026, the company successfully managed the distribution of retail goods reaching 34,651 tons, a figure representing a 17 percent growth compared to the same period in the previous year.
In addition to recording an increase in general cargo volume, the performance of this service was also supported by high demand for motorcycle shipments via the railway network. It was recorded that approximately 70,000 units of two-wheeled vehicles were distributed through KALOG Express to meet the inter-regional logistics needs of the public.
To maintain this growth momentum, KAI Logistik has taken strategic steps by increasing the capacity of the KA ONS (Overnight Service) and expanding its network. A total of 16 new service points have been officially opened in various regions to expand distribution reach while improving accessibility for customers.
On the other hand, the company continues to accelerate its digital transformation by optimizing the KAI Logistik TRAX application. This platform was introduced to provide added value for users, ranging from easy booking of services to real-time shipment tracking features, which are expected to improve overall efficiency and customer experience.
