International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI) successfully held an educational activity titled "Coffeepreneur Bootcamp 2026: Empowering Future Entrepreneurs Through Coffee Innovation". The event, which took place on Saturday (25/7/2026) at the IULI Campus, Gading Serpong, was held in a hybrid format to reach a wide audience free of charge.
To provide a comprehensive understanding of the coffee business from upstream to downstream, IULI presented four Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi) across disciplines as key speakers. They were Petrick Gideon Effendi (Chemical Engineering), Dadan Ramdani (Hotel & Tourism Management), Dr. Hendry Noer Fadlillah (Food Technology), and Muhammad Affandi (Management), who collaboratively explained the integration of science, hospitality, and modern business strategies.
Rector of IULI, Dr. Christin Agustina Purba, expressed her hope that this program would serve as an interactive platform for students to explore and gain new experiences. The synergy of various disciplines in this training is designed to equip aspiring young entrepreneurs with the readiness to face intense competition in the national creative industry.
In addition to the material presentation sessions, participants attending in person were treated to free coffee cupping facilities using selected coffee beans from West Java, such as Palintang, Pangalengan, and Ciwidey. The excitement of the event was also complemented by a campus tour, distribution of attractive prizes, a creative content competition, as well as a special scholarship program in the form of discounts on enrollment fees and tuition fees for prospective new students.
The presence of students accompanied by mentoring teachers received a positive response, one of which was from SMKN 8 Tangerang Selatan, which appreciated the new practical insights gained by the students. Through this initiative, IULI is committed to continuing to encourage the birth of young innovators ready to actively contribute to the national entrepreneurial landscape.
