Residents of Ngawi Regency were treated to a lively traditional art spectacle through an all-night wayang kulit performance in the Dahlia Alley area, Ngawi, on Sunday (2/8/2026) night. The event, which began with a solemn joint prayer starting at 7:00 PM WIB, was held in the framework of the circumcision thanksgiving of Tobias Probo Megantoro Darmawan.

This cultural art performance featured the famous puppet master (dalang) Ki Eko, and was enlivened by the appearance of legendary East Javanese comedians, Cak Kirun and Pecil. The presence of these artists successfully livened up the atmosphere and entertained hundreds of residents who packed the venue.

In addition to being a popular entertainment, this performance is also a concrete manifestation of preserving and maintaining ancestral cultural heritage. The enthusiasm of the audience was very high, with visitors coming not only from the local neighborhood but also from various regions outside Ngawi Regency.
