Field Learning Practice (PBL) III students from the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) have officially completed their series of community service activities in Tottong Village, Donri-Donri District, Soppeng Regency. The culminating event, a final seminar held at the Village Office Hall on Monday (6/7), served as a platform to present the achievements of the programs implemented over the past two weeks.

During the observation and action period, the students identified various health issues and local potentials within the village. The results of this identification were then translated into a series of interventions aimed at improving community health standards. During the forum, students transparently presented their work as a form of academic and social accountability to village officials and local residents.

Student representative Misnah Miska emphasized the importance of maintaining the established collaboration even though the field assignment has ended. She expressed hope that the health initiatives pioneered would serve as a strong foundation for the sustainable improvement of residents' welfare in the future.

In response, the Head of Tottong Village, Muhammad Tahir, expressed his highest appreciation for the students' dedication. According to him, cross-sectoral synergy involving students, health workers, village cadres, and the broader community is a key element in creating a healthier and more independent village environment.

As a concrete form of commitment, the students handed over a Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL) document to the Tottong Village Government. The document is expected to serve as a strategic guide for the village government to run health programs independently following the departure of the students, ensuring that the positive impact of these activities can be felt by the community in the long term.
