The Central Bengkulu Regency Government once again held the Maroba Berbinar program in the front yard of the Regent's Office on Saturday (4/7/2026). This activity was designed as a multifunctional public space combining artistic entertainment with the dissemination of strategic information to the wider community.
The event was attended by regional officials, including representatives of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Central Bengkulu, heads of regional apparatus organizations, and the local branch head of Bank Bengkulu. The atmosphere was made lively by an artistic performance from RISMA Al-Mujahidin of Nakau Village, providing a platform for the younger generation to express their creativity in public.
Behind the festivities, BPS Central Bengkulu seized the momentum to conduct intensive socialization regarding the 2026 Economic Census. This national-scale data collection was presented as a crucial instrument for the government in mapping the real conditions of business sectors and economic activities to formulate targeted development policies in the future.
To facilitate public understanding, the committee included an interactive quiz session themed on the Economic Census with various attractive prizes. This persuasive and relaxed approach proved effective in fostering communicative dialogue while increasing enthusiasm among residents to support the smooth progress of the upcoming data collection process.
The local government hopes that through the synergy between entertainment and education, the public will become increasingly aware of the urgency of accurate data for regional economic growth.
