Serang City Regional General Hospital (RSUD Kota Serang) has officially reached its 8th year. Marking this celebration, the hospital management reaffirmed its commitment to transforming healthcare services by upgrading infrastructure and strengthening human resource quality.
One of the strategic steps taken is the commencement of the construction of the Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) facility. This modern medical facility is projected to be a new milestone for the hospital in handling heart and blood vessel disease cases more comprehensively in the Serang City area.
The Mayor of Serang, Budi Rustandi, emphasized that alongside technological advancement, the hospitality of medical staff remains a top priority. According to him, a humanistic attitude, patience, and a culture of smiling when serving patients are forms of dedication that must be upheld by all staff, from the board of directors to healthcare workers in the field.
The Director of RSUD Kota Serang, dr. Ahmad Humariadi, MARS, explained that the theme "Synergy" was chosen for this year's celebration to appreciate the collaboration of various parties. He ensured that all feedback from the public would serve as evaluation material to improve communication ethics and excellent service standards across all work units.
As part of the 8th anniversary celebrations, RSUD Kota Serang also organized a series of social activities for the community. These activities included providing aid to the elderly, blood donation drives, tree seedling distribution, and free electrocardiogram (ECG) screening services for hundreds of local residents.
