The Bogor Regency Government has officially begun the construction project for the new Gunung Sindur District Office building, which costs IDR 12.3 billion. Sourced from the 2026 Bogor Regency Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), these funds are allocated to provide a more representative and modern service facility.
Scheduled to take 180 calendar days, the project commenced on June 25, 2026. Featuring a three-story building design, the construction has been entrusted to CV Selaras Abadi Utama, which won the tender process in accordance with applicable technical regulations.
To ensure public convenience during the construction period, district officials have temporarily relocated all administrative operations to a site approximately 200 meters from the main building. This step was taken to ensure that all public matters continue to run normally without interruption during the construction process.
In addition to focusing on the new facility, the local government is also committed to utilizing the old building materials effectively. Debris or remaining materials from the demolition of the old building are planned to be donated to local mosques and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) around the Gunung Sindur area so they can be reused by the community.
The Bogor Regency Government also invites the general public to actively participate in monitoring the project. Citizen involvement is considered crucial to ensuring that construction proceeds according to technical specifications, meets quality standards, and upholds the principle of transparency in the use of public funds.
