The Gunung Mas Regency Government has officially reaffirmed its commitment to optimizing the implementation of the National Health Insurance-Healthy Indonesia Card (JKN-KIS) Program. This strategic step was realized through the holding of the Partnership Forum for the Management of Healthcare Facility Cooperation, which took place at the Gunung Mas Regent's Office on Thursday (2/7/2026).
The Regional Secretary of Gunung Mas Regency, Richard, representing Regent Jaya Samaya Monong, emphasized that this forum is a crucial instrument to strengthen coordination among stakeholders. The synergy built is expected to ensure the effectiveness of health service distribution so that the benefits of JKN-KIS can be felt equally and maximally by all levels of society in the region.
In his direction, Richard encouraged constructive input from various parties, including the Gunung Mas Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD). He hoped that the results of this discussion could be formulated into policy recommendations that have a real impact on improving service standards in health facilities, in line with national priority programs and regional flagship programs, namely Tambun Bungai.
The Head of BPJS Kesehatan Palangka Raya Branch, dr. K. Hindro Kusumo, M.Kes, also presented an in-depth evaluation regarding the accessibility and quality of health services in Gunung Mas Regency. The data and strategic issues discussed in the meeting serve as the main reference for the regional government to design a more responsive and inclusive service system for residents.
The event was attended by several key figures, including the Chairperson of Commission III of the Gunung Mas Regency DPRD, Iceu Purnamasari, heads of regional government agencies, and heads of community health centers (puskesmas). The active participation of these stakeholders reflects a collaborative spirit to realize a healthier and more prosperous Gunung Mas community through a sustainable health insurance system.
