The Bandung City Government (Pemkot Bandung) is currently closely overseeing the stages of the cooperation partnership for the management of the Bandung Zoo area, which has entered the business calculation phase. Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, emphasized that the government's role in this process is limited to monitoring legal compliance, without intervening in the commercial agreement details negotiated by the relevant parties.

Farhan stated that the government's primary focus is ensuring that every strategic step taken remains grounded in existing regulations. He targets the entire sequence of this cooperation process to be fully completed by July 2026.

Regarding financial commitment, Farhan revealed that the auction winner has fulfilled its initial obligation by transferring an annual contribution of IDR 4.3 billion. The funds were received by the Bandung City Government within just two days after the auction winner was announced, reflecting the partner's readiness to fulfill its financial responsibilities.

Furthermore, the Bandung City Government is committed to swiftly completing all administrative requirements under the government's domain. Once regulatory aspects are fulfilled and synchronization between business interests and legal rules is achieved, both parties are scheduled to proceed with signing the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) as the final step in managing the zoo.
