The National Political Publishing House held a performance evaluation conference for the first half of 2026 in Hanoi on July 10. The main agenda of the meeting was to formulate policy directions and set ten strategic priorities to be achieved in the next six months.
Deputy Director and Deputy Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thinh presented impressive achievements during the first half of the year. A total of 308 manuscripts were edited and published, covering 263 print book titles with total distribution exceeding 5 million copies. In addition, the institution successfully produced 109 pieces of content in electronic and audio book formats.
In the realm of intellectual development, the publisher successfully organized three national-scale scientific conferences and completed 15 basic-level research projects. Their main focus remains on disseminating the ideological works of state leaders and publishing research on Vietnam in foreign languages to strengthen the country's position in cultural and intellectual diplomacy on the international stage.
Entering the second semester, the institution affirmed its commitment to prioritizing the publication of works supporting the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party as well as resolutions of the Central Committee. Other strategic projects in focus include accelerating national thematic book series and deeply integrating scientific research with professional editing practices in accordance with Directive No. 04-CT/TW.
