Kodam XIII/Merdeka took the initiative to strengthen its partnership with press members through casual activities featuring joint sports, a coffee morning, and a World Cup watch party. Held at the Kodam XIII/Merdeka Headquarters in Manado on Tuesday (7/7/2026), the event aimed to build fluid and harmonious communication between the military and media crews in North Sulawesi.
A warm atmosphere filled the event. Commander of Kodam XIII/Merdeka, Major General TNI Mirza Agus S.I.P., personally led the meeting, accompanied by several key officials, including Chief of Staff of Kodam XIII/Merdeka Brigadier General TNI Wahyu Eko Purnomo S.I.P., Inspector of Kodam XIII/Merdeka Brigadier General TNI Esy Suharto, and Chief of Expert Staff to the Commander Brigadier General TNI Saptono Syiwarudi.
In addition to high-ranking Kodam officials, the event was attended by Assistants, Chiefs of Agencies/Units (Dan/Kabalakdam), and journalist representatives from various media outlets, including print, electronic, television, and online. This interaction is expected to be a strategic step in creating positive and transparent information synergy between the TNI institution and the public through media colleagues.
