Property developer PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (WINR) has taken a strategic step to diversify its business by acquiring a 60% stake in PT Laxo Global Akses (LGA). This move underscores the company's commitment to expanding its business scope into digital infrastructure and internet service provision (ISP) to build an integrated modern property ecosystem.

President Director of WINR, Yusmen Liu, emphasized that digital transformation is now a crucial element in the property industry. According to him, the integration with LGA aims not only to boost the competitiveness of the company's projects in the eyes of consumers but also as a strategy to secure a more stable source of recurring revenue in the future.

This long-term strategy will be implemented through various residential technology innovations, such as smart home systems, digital building management, and IoT- and cloud-based service support. A key focus of this synergy is the development of a 30-hectare smart city project in Bogor, which is planned to be expanded gradually to 1,000 hectares.

For LGA, joining the WINR network offers access to a large captive market across the company's various property project locations. Conversely, WINR will gain full control over digital infrastructure, including fiber optic networks and high-speed internet connectivity, which will add significant value for both residents and tenants.

This business decision is driven by the soaring growth of internet penetration in Indonesia. Based on 2026 APJII data, national internet penetration has reached 81.72%, reflecting the high demand for reliable connectivity. With this momentum, WINR is optimistic about capturing market opportunities while strengthening the company's business fundamentals amid rapid digitalization.
