SURABAYA - In an effort to strengthen entrepreneurial networks and make a tangible contribution to the national economy, the Airlangga Business Community (ABC) held a series of events including a business workshop, the inauguration of new board members, and a working meeting (Raker) in Surabaya. This strategic activity was designed to formulate collaborative steps in building a business ecosystem that is not only financially profitable, but also delivers a positive and sustainable social impact.
The event, attended by hundreds of business owners, academics, and alumni of Universitas Airlangga, served as an important momentum to strengthen synergy among entrepreneurs. In addition to the ceremonial inauguration of the board members for the new term, the main agenda focused on formulating tactical work programs relevant to digital economy challenges and current market dynamics.
Through the business workshop, participants engaged in intensive discussions regarding the importance of technology integration, access to funding, and mentoring for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). ABC is committed to serving as a facilitating bridge connecting novice entrepreneurs with experienced investors and mentors to accelerate their business scale.
With the completion of this working meeting, the Airlangga Business Community is expected to generate concrete and applicable program innovations. This strategic step is also targeted to strengthen Surabaya's position as one of the primary centers of creative economic growth and entrepreneurship in East Java.
