Tegal City now has a new medical facility with the official inauguration of Harapan Sehat Hospital (RS). The presence of this type C private hospital is projected to strengthen the healthcare referral system in the western northern coast (Pantura) region of Central Java, in order to accommodate the public's high need for adequate medical access.

The construction of this healthcare facility marks a new chapter in the local region's history. The CEO of Harapan Sehat Hospital, Muhadi Setia Budi, revealed that this is the first private hospital established in Tegal City in the last 18 years, following the establishment of Mitra Keluarga Hospital back in 2008. The project took about two and a half years to complete, starting from the land acquisition phase to the completion of physical construction.

To support its operations, Harapan Sehat Hospital provides basic specialist services such as obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and general services. The Director of Harapan Sehat Hospital in Tegal City, Husen Al Rasyid, explained that the hospital is also equipped with a 24-hour Emergency Room (ER), an ICU, delivery rooms, a central operating theater, a laboratory, radiology, and a nutrition unit.

Management is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and professional medical services supported by competent healthcare professionals and modern infrastructure. The presence of Harapan Sehat Hospital is expected not only to become the top choice for Tegal residents, but also to promote the equal distribution of quality healthcare services across the wider Central Java region.
