The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung Wibowo, officially inaugurated the operations of Mayapada Hospital East Jakarta (MHJT), located in the strategic area of Jakarta Garden City, Cakung, East Jakarta. The inauguration of this eighth unit of the Mayapada Healthcare network marks a concrete step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the capital, particularly for residents in the eastern region.
Built on a 1.5-hectare plot of land with an investment exceeding IDR 400 billion, the eight-story hospital is designed to meet the high demand for modern medical facilities. MHJT serves as a comprehensive healthcare solution for local communities, workers in industrial estates, and expatriates residing along the Cakung to Bekasi corridor.
Governor Pramono Anung stated that the presence of this facility is a tangible manifestation of public-private collaboration in making Jakarta a global city. He hopes that with this international-standard hospital, people will no longer need to seek medical treatment abroad in countries like Singapore or Malaysia, as comparable services are now available closer to home.
MHJT relies on various Centers of Excellence, ranging from maternal and child health, cardiovascular diseases, to trauma care and orthopedics. Equipped with a 24-hour emergency department and cutting-edge technologies such as the ICU Pendant system, Cath Lab, and the latest diagnostic equipment, the hospital is ready to deliver fast and accurate medical care.
In addition to expanding healthcare access, the presence of MHJT is expected to make a positive impact on regional economic growth through job creation. The facility has also been integrated with various health insurance systems, including national, international, and BPJS Kesehatan insurance, to ensure inclusive service for all segments of society.
