PT Bank Riau Kepri (BRK) Syariah has realized its social responsibility commitment by handing over one ambulance unit to the Rantau Bais Family Association (IKRAB) Duri, Bengkalis Regency. This medical fleet, operating 24 hours a day, is projected to accelerate access and emergency handling for people in need of medical transportation.

The Chairman of IKRAB Duri, Zuber, expressed gratitude for the realization of this assistance, which was fully supported by the Regent of Bengkalis, Kasmarni. Previously, the family-based organization, which supports around 600 heads of households, often faced fleet limitation issues when they had to help sick residents or refer patients to the hospital simultaneously. With the presence of this new ambulance, the effectiveness of humanitarian social services can now be significantly enhanced.

This ambulance service is not limited to association members but is widely open to all surrounding communities without charging basic operational fees. To ensure operational continuity and safety, IKRAB Duri has appointed experienced drivers and implemented an independent, self-funded routine vehicle maintenance system.

Branch Manager of BRK Syariah Bengkalis, Nety Supiaty, emphasized that the distribution of this aid is an integral part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Her side is committed to continuing to provide beneficial programs that directly address the basic needs of the community, both in the health sector and in sustainable regional development.

In addition to the health sector, BRK Syariah's social contributions are also recognized by the community for expanding into the economic empowerment sector. Real support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Rokan Hilir region through the provision of business facilities serves as clear evidence of the synergy of this Islamic banking institution as an inclusive regional development partner.
