An act of social care was demonstrated by the Besuki Police Department, Situbondo Regency, in supporting the implementation of the "Week of Mass Circumcision" program. The event, centered at Pendopo Pate Alos on Thursday (9/7/2026), was attended directly by the Besuki Village Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Policing Officer), Bripda Ghazal Fikri, representing the local Police Chief.
The event, which started in the morning, involved various key stakeholders, ranging from the Head of the Situbondo Regency Health Office, representatives of the Besuki District Government, to medical personnel from several community health centers (Puskesmas) in the Besuki, Widoropayung, Banyuglugur, and Jatibanteng areas. This cross-sectoral synergy demonstrates the strong commitment of the local government and security forces in ensuring inclusive health access for the community.
The series of activities proceeded solemnly, starting from the opening session, recitation of prayers (salawat), to the distribution of aid to the circumcision participants. The presence of Polri personnel in the midst of the community was not merely a formality, but a symbol of the police institution's closeness to the residents and local health partners.
The Besuki Police hope that through social activities like this, communication channels and a sense of togetherness among residents will become stronger. These collaborative efforts are expected to create a positive impact on social welfare while maintaining a conducive public security and order (kamtibmas) situation in the Besuki District area on an ongoing basis.
