BPJS Kesehatan has officially launched the Layanan Ujung Negeri (Lanuri) program simultaneously across 558 regency and city locations throughout Indonesia. This strategic move aims to expand the reach of the National Health Insurance (JKN) program, particularly for residents living in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions.
President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Prihati Pujowaskito, explained that the Lanuri program is a form of optimizing non-digital services. This innovation targets citizens facing geographical barriers and limited communication technology infrastructure. In its implementation, BPJS Kesehatan involves 126 Branch Offices, dividing services into 179 mobile outreach points through BPJS Keliling and 379 points based on the Viola (Information and Administration Service Virtual Office) system.
Deputy Regional Director II of BPJS Kesehatan, Nofi Hidayat, added that the presence of Lanuri makes it easier for people in remote areas to access information, manage membership administration, and submit complaints regarding JKN. One of its implementations took place in the Mentawai Islands Regency, specifically at the Merah Putih Cooperative in Sipora Jaya Village, as well as the activation of Viola services on Sikakap Island.
The inauguration of this national-scale program also marks the conclusion of the 100-Day Work agenda of the BPJS Kesehatan Board of Directors. The rapid action program reportedly succeeded in recording a satisfactory cumulative performance achievement of 91.53 percent.
The tactical agenda consists of four customer-centric programs to meet the basic needs of participants, plus four cross-sector collaborative programs. Other key achievements include providing JKN access in remote areas via hospital ships, integrating the P-Care system for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, and implementing a smart claim system to eliminate potential inefficiencies and fraud.
