The Aisyiyah Branch Leadership (PRA) of Karanglewas Kidul, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, demonstrated tangible care for the health of elderly residents by hosting an Integrated Healthcare Center (Posyandu) service for the Elderly. The activity, which took place on Tuesday (June 30, 2026) at the Muhammadiyah School Complex Hall, targeted residents requiring more efficient routine health monitoring.

Chairperson of PRA Karanglewas Kidul, Uswatun Khasanah, revealed that this initiative emerged in response to the community's high demand for affordable healthcare services. According to her, the often expensive cost of medical treatment poses an obstacle for some residents, calling her organization to action to facilitate health check-ups and provide medications without placing a financial burden on the public.

The service process was organized systematically, starting from registration, blood pressure and weight checks, to medication pickup by participants. Beyond focusing on physical health, the event also featured a spiritual strengthening session. In her guidance, Uswatun emphasized the importance of increasing istighfar (seeking forgiveness) as a means to soothe the soul, while reminding the elderly to maintain personal hygiene and ensure purity in worship.

In addition to spiritual aspects, the elderly were provided with education on healthy lifestyles. Uswatun directly led light stretching exercises and simple muscle routines specifically designed for easy practice at home. It is hoped that through these routine activities, the elderly in Karanglewas Kidul will not only achieve a fitter physical condition to support their bone health, but also remain productive and empowered in performing their daily worship.
