The management of Persik Kediri has officially restructured its organization by appointing Dyaradzi Aufa Taruna, popularly known as Razzi Taruna, as the new sporting director. This strategic move was taken as thorough preparation for the club, nicknamed the White Tigers, ahead of the 2026/2027 football season.
President Director of Persik Kediri, Souraiya Farina, revealed that the appointment was the result of lengthy consideration by the management. According to her, Razzi possesses a deep understanding of the club's values and extensive experience within the national football ecosystem, which is believed to bring significant changes to the squad's performance on the field.
Before officially joining Kediri, Razzi had an impressive track record while serving as manager of PSIM Yogyakarta. He played a key role in leading the club to promotion to the top tier, Liga 1, after winning the Liga 2 title during the 2024/2025 season. This experience serves as Razzi's main asset in helping the coaching staff build a more competitive squad foundation.
In addition to strengthening the management ranks, Persik Kediri is also streamlining its squad. A number of players have been officially released, including Vava Mario Yagalo, who had been with the team for six seasons. Furthermore, the loan spells of several players, such as Muhammad Firli, Gavin Kwan, Al Hamra Hehanussa, Henhen Herdiana, and Rezaldi Hehanussa, have ended.
Responding to the trust given to him, Razzi expressed his enthusiasm to immediately collaborate with all elements of the club. He believes that with Persik Kediri's current great potential, collaboration between management and technical staff will create a more solid and modern team ecosystem in the upcoming season.
