Magelang Police have finally provided an official clarification in response to a video circulating on social media showing the alleged seizure of a motorcycle. The incident, which took place in the Gunung Pring area, Muntilan District, Magelang Regency, had caused concern among local residents.
Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Magelang Police, AKP Toyib, stated that his team responded quickly by conducting a series of investigations shortly after the video went viral. This step was taken to determine the exact circumstances of the incident on the ground and prevent widespread public speculation.
During the investigation process, the police summoned and questioned several related parties. The questioning included the debtor, eyewitnesses at the scene, and external field officers from the financing company involved in the dispute.
