Officers from the Gunung Agung Sectoral Police (Polsek), under the auspices of the Tulang Bawang Barat Regency Police, secured routine Sunday worship at the Muria Christian Church of Indonesia (GKMI) in Tiyuh Tunas Jaya, Gunung Agung District. This measure was taken to ensure the entire worship service ran safely, orderly, and peacefully for the congregation in attendance.

Alongside their security duties, police personnel also conducted a dialogic program titled "Minggu Kasih" (Sunday of Love). This activity was designed as a platform for direct communication, allowing church members to convey aspirations, suggestions, and complaints regarding the public security and order (kamtibmas) situation in the surrounding area.

Gunung Agung Police Chief, Police Inspector (Iptu) Apriansyah, representing Tulang Bawang Barat Regency Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Sendi Antoni, explained that the security operations were comprehensive and multi-layered. The security measures began with sterilizing the church area before the service started and included intensive monitoring of the congregation's vehicles in the parking lot to prevent crime.

Through this integration of security and dialogue, the Gunung Agung Sectoral Police are committed to maintaining regional security stability and strengthening partnerships with the community. These efforts received a positive response from congregation representatives, who stated they felt safer, calmer, and more solemn in their worship thanks to the presence of police officers on the ground.
