The Rector of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, Prof. Dr. Mujiburrahman, M.Ag., asserted that the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision cannot be achieved solely by relying on economic growth and technological progress. According to him, the foundation of resilient human development must be based on the integration of religious values, morality, and competence in science and technology.
This statement was delivered during the National Education Talk Show organized by ICMI Orda Aceh Besar at the Postgraduate Building of UIN Ar-Raniry, Tuesday (7/7/2026). In the forum, he emphasized that integrity and national character are the main pillars determining a nation's strength in the future.
A similar view was expressed by the Director of the Postgraduate Program at UIN Ar-Raniry, Prof. Eka Srimulyani, M.A., Ph.D. She highlighted that the transformation of national education is currently faced with the challenge of rapid developments in artificial intelligence. Therefore, the synergy between the role of teachers as character role models and the adoption of digital literacy is highly crucial for future generations.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Regional Education Council (MPD) of Aceh Besar, Prof. Dr. Mustanir, M.Sc., highlighted the urgency of data-driven education policies. He hopes that future educational evaluations can focus on the equalization of quality and the comprehensive improvement of teacher competence to produce a generation capable of competing on the global stage.
