Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (Kasal) Admiral TNI Muhammad Ali officially opened the 2026 Indonesian Navy Sports Week (PORAL) event, which took place at Trisila Field, Navy Headquarters (Mabesal), Cilangkap, Jakarta, on Monday (13/7).
This annual sporting event is designed as a strategic platform for soldiers to sharpen their physical abilities while maintaining physical fitness. In its execution, the committee is featuring five team sports disciplines that demand solid teamwork.
More than just a competition, PORAL 2026 serves as an important instrument to foster esprit de corps and enhance personnel professionalism. Through interactions on the field, it is expected that solidarity between units within the Indonesian Navy will become even stronger, in line with increasingly complex operational demands and service to the nation.
