The Digital Business Study Program at the Informatics and Business Institute (IIB) Darmajaya took a strategic step by holding a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for curriculum review. The hybrid meeting, held on Thursday (7/2/26), aimed to ensure educational standards remain aligned with the rapid transformation of the digital industry.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at IIB Darmajaya, Dr. Winda Rika Lestari, S.E., M.M., emphasized that this evaluation is a crucial agenda. According to her, changes in business patterns and consumer behavior resulting from technological advancements require higher education institutions to be more adaptive in designing learning materials so as not to be left behind.

On that occasion, the Head of the Digital Business Study Program, Trufi Murdiani, S.T., M.A., presented the direction of curriculum development, which now focuses on strengthening practical competencies. The discussion also involved stakeholders and industry partners to provide real-world perspectives on which skills are most needed by companies today.

Discussion participants highlighted the importance of a balance between mastering business concepts and technical skills. Students are expected not only to understand theory, but also to possess innovation capabilities, digital marketing strategies, and strong soft skills such as collaboration and communication to be ready for the professional world.

All input gathered from industry partners will serve as the primary foundation for the study program in refining the curriculum. This step reflects IIB Darmajaya's commitment to continuing to produce superior graduates who are competitive, adaptive, and able to make a tangible contribution to the national digital economy ecosystem.
