JAKARTA — PT Bank Central Asia Tbk's (BCA) commitment to accelerating digital banking services is showing increasingly significant results. Entering the first quarter of 2026, Indonesia's largest private banking issuer recorded that almost all customer transaction activities, reaching 99.8 percent, have now migrated to digital channels.

This positive trend is reflected in the surge of the company's transaction frequency, which soared by up to 61 percent over the past three years. During the same period, BCA's customer base also expanded by 18 percent, surpassing 34.5 million customers. This increase reinforces the central role of digital platforms in supporting the company's transaction banking and cash management ecosystem.

President Director of BCA, Hendra Lembong, emphasized that all technology transformation steps taken by the company are always user-oriented. According to him, developed digital innovations, such as the myBCA, myBCA Bisnis, and Ocean by BCA platforms, are specifically designed to provide added value and simplify access for both retail and corporate customers.

Operationally as of March 2026, the bank with stock code BBCA manages more than 44 million customer accounts with an average daily transaction processing volume exceeding 122 million transactions. Despite focusing on the digital realm, BCA maintains a balance with physical services by operating 1,270 branch offices and 20,336 ATM units across the country to ensure service inclusivity.

The success of this transformation also received global appreciation at the Digital CX Awards 2026 organized by The Digital Banker. BCA successfully bagged six prestigious awards for its service innovations. The myBCA application was named Best Retail Bank for Digital CX in Indonesia, while the corporate transaction platform Ocean by BCA won regional Southeast Asia awards for Best Wholesale/Transaction Bank for Digital CX and Outstanding Digital CX – Cash Management Platform.
