Talented young actor Elang El Gibran makes a significant character breakthrough in his latest film project titled "402 Haunted Hospital Korea". Widely known to the public for his image as a calm and humble Javanese youth, Elang must now transform into an ambitious figure to bring the story to life.
Under the direction of director Anggy Umbara, this horror film tells the gripping adventure of a group of content creators. They dare to broadcast live from an abandoned hospital in South Korea known to be highly haunted, in pursuit of an ambitious target of reaching three million viewers. However, their expectations turn into disaster when supernatural terror begins to threaten their safety.
In this film, Elang plays the character Bara, a content creator hungry for popularity. Bara is depicted as a selfish figure who often makes dangerous decisions for his team members to increase viewership. Elang admits that playing Bara was a major challenge because he had to portray a personality side that was the complete opposite of his daily life.
Interestingly, although the character of Bara is predicted to trigger the audience's annoyance, Elang personally really enjoyed the filming process. The actor, who likes supernatural things, feels that the horror atmosphere during production provided a memorable new experience in his acting career journey.
