The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (UBCKNN) officially hosted a conference titled "Securities Issuance - Economic Growth Driver" in Hanoi on July 7. This strategic event brought together representatives from regulatory bodies, local governments, market participants, and securities firms to align understanding of new capital market rules.
UBCKNN Chairwoman, Vu Thi Chan Phuong, emphasized that this step reflects the government's commitment to creating a modern, transparent, and stable legal framework. Regulatory reforms, including the implementation of Government Decree No. 245/2025/ND-CP and No. 200/2026/ND-CP, are expected to facilitate businesses in raising medium- and long-term funds more effectively.
In addition to serving as an information dissemination forum, the conference also functioned as an interactive dialogue space. Business operators were given the opportunity to convey practical obstacles faced in the field, which were directly addressed by capital market authorities for future policy improvements.
UBCKNN Vice Chairman, Hoang Van Thu, in his speech stressed the importance of the stock market's role as a supporting pillar of the economy alongside the banking sector. This initiative is projected to reduce the banking credit burden while injecting capital into companies to pursue national economic growth targets for the 2026-2030 period.
Through this outreach, the government hopes the business community can make optimal use of corporate bonds and other securities instruments in accordance with current regulations. This synergy between regulators and the private sector is expected to maintain investor confidence and create a sustainable market ecosystem for all economic actors in Vietnam.
