ASUS Indonesia has officially launched the ExpertBook PM5 G2 (PM5406) in the domestic market, a premium business device specifically designed to meet the productivity standards of the modern era. The laptop, which drew significant attention at CES 2026, comes with the Copilot+ PC designation powered by AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors.
Commercial Director of ASUS Indonesia, Eric Khoven, stated that the adoption of AI technology has become a crucial need for the business segment in Indonesia to boost operational efficiency. Through the integration of artificial intelligence directly into the hardware, complex administrative tasks are claimed to be completed in seconds without compromising corporate data security.
Unlike general thin laptop trends that tend to limit flexibility, the ExpertBook PM5 G2 offers robust computing performance with upgradeable specification options. For the standard variant, the laptop comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor featuring a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of reaching up to 50 TOPS acceleration. Meanwhile, for large-scale data analysis needs, a project-based variant with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 is available, offering up to 55 TOPS of NPU power.
The high NPU capacity allows AI features to run entirely locally on the device without relying on an internet connection. Despite its powerful performance with a TDP of up to 45W, users do not need to worry about overheating issues. ASUS incorporates ExpertCool thermal management technology, which maintains device temperature stability while ensuring the fan operates with minimal noise.
With a combination of high performance, AI efficiency, and component upgrade flexibility, the ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2 is positioned as a long-term investment asset for the corporate world.
