PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has once again proved its prowess in the national banking arena. The company won an award at the Bisnis Indonesia Award 2026 in the Regional Development Bank (BPD) category for assets over IDR 40 trillion. This appreciation was awarded for management's success in maintaining stable performance and healthy business fundamentals amidst an increasingly challenging banking industry climate.
The award was accepted directly by Bank Jatim's Compliance Director, Umi Rodiyah, at an event held in Jakarta on Thursday (2/7). Umi emphasized that this success reflects the dedication of all Bank Jatim personnel, as well as tangible proof of the trust placed by stakeholders—from customers and shareholders to strategic partners—in transparent corporate governance.
Based on the Q1-2026 performance report, Bank Jatim recorded impressive growth, with total assets reaching IDR 164.07 trillion, representing a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 38.85%. In the credit distribution sector, the company successfully disbursed IDR 109.22 trillion, growing significantly by 40.85%. This achievement was reinforced by an increase in Third-Party Funds (DPK) reaching IDR 122.80 trillion, reflecting strong public trust in the financial institution.
Moving forward, the company is committed not just to maintaining these figures, but to accelerating growth through digital transformation and service innovation. Bank Jatim's main focus is on strengthening risk management and selectively maintaining asset quality to ensure sustainable growth through the end of the year.
For context, the Bisnis Indonesia Award is an annual event that recognizes top-performing companies based on strict benchmarks, ranging from financial performance and innovation to the company's ability to adapt to economic dynamics. For Bank Jatim, this award serves as a catalyst to further strengthen its role as an engine of regional economic growth and an inclusive regional champion.
