The Head of the Padang Alai Community Health Center (UPTD Puskesmas), dr. Rafki Ismail, spoke out to dismiss negative rumors circulating on social media regarding his attendance at work. He emphasized that the allegations claiming he has been inactive in carrying out his duties as a Civil Servant (ASN) for a long time do not align with the facts on the ground.
According to dr. Rafki, to this day, he remains consistent in fulfilling his mandate to lead the institution while also serving as a general practitioner directly treating residents. He assured that all official responsibilities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
As proof of work accountability, he explained that all records of his activities are neatly stored in administrative documents. His presence in various important agendas, such as coordination meetings, coaching programs, and monitoring held by the Padang Pariaman Regency Health Office, is clearly recorded in both physical attendance sheets and visual documentation.
Furthermore, he explained that he always personally accompanies every supervisory visit from the Health Office to the Padang Alai UPTD Puskesmas as the person in charge of the health facility. Therefore, he considers the allegations leveled against him to be one-sided information not based on verified data.
Despite being hit by negative rumors, dr. Rafki guarantees that the health center's operations are not disrupted at all. Various public health programs, ranging from outpatient care, maternal and child health services, immunization, to other preventive efforts, continue to run normally to ensure that the community receives the best medical services.
The health center also expressed its readiness to be transparent and provide explanations as well as supporting documents to the competent authorities if necessary. Finally, dr. Rafki urged the public to be more selective and wise in filtering information circulating on social media so as not to cause harmful misunderstandings.
