The routine meeting of the Greater Pekalongan Muhammadiyah Business Union (SUMU) held on Sunday (12/7/2026) appeared different than usual. Featuring an interactive concept through a Fireside Chat session, this activity was no longer dominated by one-way ceremonial speeches, but transformed into a dynamic business matching space for local business players.
This forum became a showcase for dozens of real business units under the auspices of the local Muhammadiyah ecosystem. In the food and agribusiness sector, a number of interesting innovations were presented, such as the development of Sterile Goat Milk by Slamet Priyono, processed bakery products from PT Juara Roti Indonesia by Ahmad Reza Kurnia Rahman, livestock supply chain management by PT Gembala Satu Karya by Taufik Ihsanudin, Mekar Sari business owned by Iskandar, to the El Chicken culinary line driven by the Regional Leadership of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) of Pekalongan Regency.
The diversity of the Muhammadiyah business ecosystem in Greater Pekalongan was also evident from the presence of professional services, information technology, and legal sectors. Several business players who also presented their portfolios included the Lumiguard pest control service by Masayuki Hiroshj, Pureclean.id commercial cleaning service by Filla Sofia Wiwadja Vivaloka, and PT Pranata Jagat Lestari environmental licensing consultant by Ilham Firdaus. Meanwhile in the field of technology and digitalization, SNA Digital Agency by Fakhrus and a Computer Shop business by Biyan Muhammad made an appearance.
Not to be left behind, the manufacturing, retail, and infrastructure sectors also showed their strength. Several local brands that presented their potential included the precious metals business Silvermu.id & Emasmu.co.id by Achmad Zani, engineering services of PT MSJ Group Indonesia by Sudiyo, Mebel Muncul Jaya by Sutantiyo, playground business by Agus Sihono, to the Ide Bagus Digital Print printing business by Abdul Kodir.
The SUMU Secretariat emphasized that this Fireside Chat session was designed as the main driving force in the gathering. The goal was to transform the tradition of formal meetings into concrete action, where entrepreneurs can pragmatically dissect their respective business capacities to find strategic and mutually beneficial collaborative partners.
Through this initiative, the Greater Pekalongan SUMU Gathering is expected to not only function as a forum for exchanging business contacts, but also as a catalyst for the birth of concrete cooperation opportunities. The synergy built among members is expected to form a more professional, innovation-adaptive network of Muhammadiyah entrepreneurs that contributes tangibly to strengthening the economy of the community.
