Regent of Sumedang, H. Dony Ahmad Munir, accompanied the Director of the Global R&DB Center (GRC) and the ASEAN Smart City Program (ASPP), Dr. Junsook Ioseph Hwang, during a working visit to the Sumedang Government Center (PPS), Friday (24/7). The visit was organized in a relaxed manner through joint sports activities before proceeding to inspect public facilities.
Both started their agenda with jogging on the PPS athletic track. After that, the group immediately moved to inspect the waste management installation at the back of PPS, including observing the decomposition process of organic waste using maggots and the non-organic waste sorting system implemented in the area.
In addition to environmental facilities, the inspection also targeted various sports facilities available within the PPS area, such as a mini soccer field, a volleyball court, and an integrated fish pond area. These facilities are provided to support the physical fitness of employees amidst their work routines.
Dony emphasized the importance of maintaining and utilizing these public facilities to foster healthy living habits among State Civil Servants (ASN). According to him, fit and healthy civil servants will have higher productivity and work enthusiasm in serving the community.
He added that the arrangement of the PPS area is designed not just as an administrative center, but also as an environmentally friendly, healthy, and modern workspace. This step is an important part of the Sumedang Regency Government's commitment to realizing high-quality bureaucratic reform.
