The Head of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Padang Pariaman Regency, Mrs. Renny Hendra Aswara, emphasized the vital role of women as the main pillar in creating healthy families. During the monthly DWP meeting of the Perumda Tirta Anai Implementing Unit in Parik Malintang, she urged members to serve as the driving force and frontline guard in accelerating the reduction of stunting rates in the region.

Mrs. Renny stressed that the quality of future generations heavily depends on women's understanding of the importance of nutrition, clean living habits, and personal health. According to her, stunting prevention is not only carried out after a child is born, but must start from pregnancy through to fulfilling nutritional needs during the child's growth phase.

Furthermore, she expressed full support for the Stunting Prevention Foster Parent Program initiated by the Padang Pariaman Regency Government. This step is considered a strategic investment for the future of children in the region. Beyond nutrition, Mrs. Renny highlighted the importance of access to a healthy environment through the Uninhabitable House (RTLH) repair assistance program continuously pursued by the local government for people in need.

In addition to a presentation on reproductive health and stunting prevention by resource person Dr. Erlina, the event also featured free health screening services for DWP members. The checks included blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid as part of early health detection efforts.

Closing her remarks, Mrs. Renny hoped that all DWP members would maintain solidarity and serve as agents of change in their respective environments. By implementing a healthy lifestyle and caring for children's growth and development, she expressed optimism that Padang Pariaman Regency can produce a more superior and high-quality generation in the future.
