The Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the NasDem Party in Purwakarta Regency brought a different atmosphere to Wanayasa Square on Tuesday (7/7/2026) evening. Through the momentum of a joint viewing of the 2026 World Cup match between Argentina and Egypt, the party not only presented sports entertainment, but also inserted a humanitarian agenda.
The lively event was attended by several important figures, including the Deputy Chairman of the NasDem Party who also serves as the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Saan Mustopa. In addition, local leaders such as the Deputy Speaker of the Purwakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Luthfi Bamala, and the Chairman of the Purwakarta NasDem DPD, Yadi Rusmayadi, were also present.
Before the kick-off whistle blew, the committee held a charity session for dozens of orphans. This step was taken as a form of the party's commitment to prioritizing social care alongside public entertainment activities. The atmosphere became even more festive with musical performances and the distribution of interactive door prizes for the residents present.
The Chairman of the Purwakarta NasDem DPD, Yadi Rusmayadi, emphasized that this activity is a strategic instrument to strengthen ties with the community. He hopes that the party's presence can be directly beneficial to the residents of Wanayasa Subdistrict through various sustainable programs in the future.
"We want to prove that NasDem is always present in the midst of the Purwakarta community. In the future, we are committed to continuing to organize entertainment and other public service programs in this region," Yadi concluded.
