The Indonesian entertainment industry is once again shrouded in deep grief. Senior comedian and actor Simson Rarameha Ngadang, better known by his stage name Temon, reportedly passed away on Sunday (12/7) at around 08:42 WIB.
The news of the comedian's passing was confirmed by his personal assistant, Febry. Although the exact cause of death has not been officially released by the family, the deceased was known to have a history of high blood pressure. The body has now been taken to the funeral home in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, to be laid in state.
Temon's name skyrocketed on the national stage through his humorous role in the popular sitcom "Abdel dan Temon Bukan Superstar" alongside Abdel Achrian. Before transforming into a beloved comedian, the graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Indonesia started his journey in the entertainment world as a radio broadcaster.
In addition to acting, Temon also showed his talent in singing by releasing a song titled "Raja Disko" in 2014. His dedication and humorous contributions for decades on the small screen now remain a valuable legacy that will always be remembered by the Indonesian public.
