Sad news envelops the country's entertainment industry after senior comedian Simson Rarameha, familiarly known as Temon Templar, was reported to have passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The deceased breathed his last at the age of 59 at 08:42 AM WIB.
The news of the comedian's passing was first confirmed through an official post on his Instagram account. The family laid the deceased's body to rest at his residence in the Pondok Karya area, Pela Mampang, South Jakarta, to give relatives and friends the opportunity to pay their final respects.
Temon's name began to skyrocket in the Indonesian entertainment industry thanks to his witty performance in the popular sitcom "Abdel Temon Bukan Superstar" in 2008. The strong chemistry he built with Abdel Achrian in the show made him one of the iconic comedian figures close to the hearts of national television viewers.
