The key to successful business sustainability lies not only in the first sale, but in the ability to retain customer loyalty to encourage repeat purchases. This fundamental principle was the main focus of the Entrepreneurship Management Training for the Women Farmers Group (KWT) and Karang Taruna (Youth Organization) of Tinggimae Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi.
The educational event, which took place at the Tinggimae Village Office on Saturday (1/8/2026), was initiated by the Cara’de Team through the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPKO). This training was designed to equip local micro-business owners in the village with more mature and long-term oriented business strategies.
Present as a speaker, Yusran, S.TP., M.Si., highlighted a classic mistake often made by novice entrepreneurs. He explained that many new business owners focus too much on the first transaction and ignore the importance of building relationships afterward.
According to Yusran, a healthy business cycle moves sequentially from attracting consumer interest, creating a transaction, encouraging repeat purchases, and finally, customers voluntarily recommending the product to others. Therefore, maintaining buyer trust is considered a crucial foundation for village-level businesses to survive and compete in the market.
