The leadership position within the Yogyakarta City Health Office has officially undergone a leadership transition. Effective Wednesday, July 1, 2026, dr. Lana Unwanah, MKM., officially assumes the responsibility as the Acting Head of the Yogyakarta City Health Office.
This appointment is based on the Mayor of Yogyakarta's Order Letter Number 016/SP/BKPSDM/2026 issued on June 30, 2026. Previously, dr. Lana Unwanah served as the Head of the Division of Disease Prevention and Control, and Health Data and Information System Management in the same institution.
This administrative step was taken following the retirement of drg. Emma Rahmi Aryani, MM., as a Civil Servant (PNS). With the retirement of the former official on Tuesday (30/6/2026), the position of Head of the Health Office became vacant.
Through this appointment, the Yogyakarta City Government ensures that the leadership transition and health service operations within the office remain optimal. dr. Lana Unwanah now performs a dual role, maintaining her structural position while concurrently leading the Health Office as acting head.
