The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Bank BJB to optimize human resource (HR) development and expand the integration of banking services within the national manpower sector. This collaborative step is expected to create a more adaptive and inclusive work ecosystem in Indonesia.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Secretary-General of Kemnaker, Cris Kuntadi, alongside the President Director of Bank BJB, Ayi Subarna, during a formal meeting in Bandung on Friday (10/7/2026). This synergy marks a concrete effort by the government to combine public sector competencies with the support of a credible banking system.

The scope of cooperation covers several main points, namely increasing workforce capacity through training programs, facilitating banking products for manpower program participants, and strengthening supporting facilities and infrastructure. Technical details regarding the implementation of this policy will be formulated in greater depth through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS).

Secretary-General of Kemnaker, Cris Kuntadi, stated that this collaboration serves as an entryway for the workforce to gain broader financial access. This move is expected to foster independence and support career development as well as business units pioneered by Kemnaker-assisted program participants in the future.
