In commemoration of its 50th anniversary, PT TIMAH Tbk held a social action titled "Bulan Bakti" (Month of Service) by providing free health check-up services for the community at the Koba Multipurpose Building, Central Bangka Regency, on Wednesday (29/7/2026). A total of 135 local residents took advantage of this opportunity for early detection of their health conditions.
The medical services provided included blood pressure, blood sugar level, and cholesterol level checks. This program is designed to increase public awareness of the importance of early disease detection so that preventive measures and medical treatment can be carried out quickly and appropriately.
Lilis (24), one of the residents in attendance, expressed her gratitude for the program. For Lilis, this activity helped her understand her overall health condition, something she previously rarely checked periodically. She also appreciated the friendliness of the medical staff who were on standby to serve residents from registration to drug distribution.
A similar response was shared by Resti (20), another participant who considered this initiative to have a very positive impact on increasing residents' health awareness. She hopes that social programs like this can be held sustainably to reach more people in the company's operational areas.
Carrying the theme "Timah for the People", the series of PT TIMAH's 50th Month of Service does not only focus on free medical treatment. The organizers also held blood donation activities and a mass circumcision, which were enthusiastically attended by the residents of Central Bangka Regency.
