The Mother of Early Childhood Education (Bunda PAUD) of Gunung Mas Regency, Mimie Mariatie Jaya S. Monong, directly inspected the implementation of the Child-Friendly School Environment Orientation Period (MPLS) in Kuala Kurun on Tuesday (7/7/2026). The visit involved the Head of the Bunda PAUD Working Group as well as representatives from the local Department of Education, Youth, and Sports.
There were three monitoring locations, namely TKN Pembina Kuala Kurun, TKN Rangan Sambon, and TKN Mekar Budaya. The main agenda of this visit was to ensure that all school orientation activities are designed with child-friendly principles, emphasizing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for new students.
In addition to observing student activities, Mimie Mariatie Jaya engaged in dialogue with school officials to ensure that the approach applied in the field aligns with early childhood character development standards. She emphasized that a supportive school environment is key to ensuring children do not feel anxious and adapt more quickly.
"I hope the children can grow into courageous, independent individuals with strong character. Hopefully, they can feel comfortable at school without having to rely on parental accompaniment," Mimie said during her visit.
This effort is part of the Gunung Mas Regency Government's commitment to supporting the 13-year compulsory education program. Through this routine supervision, the local government strives to ensure the quality of early childhood education services is maintained to nurture an outstanding and high-quality future generation.
