As a concrete form of commitment to improving the standard of living of the community around its operational areas, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) held a free health service program in Tuban Regency, East Java. The program, which targeted 16 villages, successfully reached 1,341 residents who needed access to basic medical treatment free of charge.
This social action took place periodically from June 10 to July 29, 2026, at the village halls of each target area. To ensure the success of this humanitarian agenda, the cement-producing company collaborated with professional medical personnel from the Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) of Kerek, Tambakboyo, and Jenu Sub-districts.
The details of the areas benefiting from this program include the villages of Glondonggede, Sawir, Merkawang, Kenanti, Sobontoro, Tambakboyo, Pabeyan, Gadon, Dasin, Klutuk, Mliwang, Kedungrejo, Karangasem, Socorejo, Bomati, and Wolutengah. Residents who attended received various essential health check-ups, starting from blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid checks, to the distribution of free vitamins and medicines according to the doctor's diagnosis.
In addition to medical treatment, the community was also provided with education on the importance of implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) in their daily lives. The General Manager of the Tuban SBI Plant, Priyatno, emphasized that this Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program was designed to create sustainable shared value.
Priyatno stated that his party is consistently trying to expand the positive impact of the company's presence by supporting the improvement of the local residents' quality of life. This step also received appreciation from the community, including Uswatun from Sawir Village, who admitted to feeling helped by the close access to treatment and the health education provided by the medical team.
