The Palembang City Government is once again enlivening the month of July 2026 with a series of activities titled Charming Events. This program is designed to provide quality entertainment to the public for free while celebrating the ongoing school holiday period.
For families wishing to spend time with their children, the Palembang City Government is still offering the opportunity to visit the Jungle Zoo Palembang. This educational exhibition, filled with entertaining elements for children, has been running since June 21 and will welcome visitors until July 19, 2026.
Not only targeting the family segment, this weekend Palembang residents will also be entertained by the popular top-tier music group, Wali Band. The concert carries a humanitarian mission and will be held in the main field of the South Sumatra Provincial Parliament (DPRD) Building.
In addition to musical entertainment and educational events, the government is also accommodating the healthy lifestyle trend currently popular among the public. Next week, running enthusiasts can participate in the Sumsel Bhayangkara Run event, which will take place in the Jakabaring Sport City (JSC) complex.
