TANGERANG – In an effort to strengthen the unity between the TNI and the people, the ranks of Koramil 11/Pasar Kemis, Kodim 0510/Tigaraksa organized a health social service event titled “Jaga Jakarta On The Spot”. The event, which took place on Jalan Cempaka Tahap 3 Bumi Indah, Sukamantri Village, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, was led directly by the Acting Commander of Koramil 11/Pasar Kemis, First Lieutenant of Infantry (Lettu Inf) Sumijan, on Sunday (2/8/2026).
Since morning, the enthusiasm of the community was quite high. Residents took turns visiting the event location to take advantage of the various free medical facilities provided. The health services included blood pressure checks, general medical check-ups, minor medical treatments, and the free distribution of medicines according to prescriptions and instructions from the medical personnel on duty.
First Lieutenant Sumijan explained that this humanitarian program is a concrete manifestation of the Indonesian Army's commitment to providing easily accessible basic health services to the community. This activity was carried out through close collaboration between the Babinsa of Koramil 11/Pasar Kemis, the medical team from the Pasar Kemis District Health Center (Puskesmas), and the active participation of local residents.
According to Sumijan, this initiative not only focuses on physical health services but also serves as a space for social interaction to foster togetherness between regional officers and local residents. He emphasized that a good level of health is an important foundation in building a safe, conducive, and productive social environment.
In addition to providing free medical treatment, Koramil 11/Pasar Kemis also distributed social aid in the form of 30 basic food packages (sembako) to families in need. The assistance packages contained daily basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, tea, and sugar, aiming to ease the economic burden of the local community.
