Prodia Laboratory has reaffirmed its commitment to improving public health literacy by hosting a National Public Seminar titled “She Thrives: A Road to Better Health”. The event, which took place at the Excotel Design Hotel Surabaya on Saturday (11/7/2026), focused on preventive measures for women as the foundation of family health.
The choice of women as the primary target audience is based on their vital role in the family ecosystem. Through this initiative, Prodia aims to emphasize that women's health independence is an absolute prerequisite before they can carry out their role as drivers of a healthy lifestyle for other family members.
Prodia's Regional Product Executive, Nur Ainsyah Oktavia, explained that the seminar was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the importance of routine laboratory tests. The education provided includes disease prevention strategies and the crucial role of health screening in monitoring body conditions to maintain long-term well-being.
Echoing this sentiment, Dr. dr. Brahmana Askandar Sp.OG, Subsp. Onk, an academic from the Faculty of Medicine at Airlangga University, highlighted the real threat of degenerative diseases and cancer in women. He emphasized that preventive measures through early detection are key to reducing the risk of more serious health issues in the future.
