Syngenta Indonesia reaffirms its commitment to supporting the modernization of the national agricultural sector through active participation in the 17th National Week (PENAS XVII) of KTNA held in Limboto, Gorontalo. The company's presence serves as a strategic momentum to introduce various seed innovations and cutting-edge cultivation solutions directly to agricultural actors.
Among the featured technologies showcased are the NK2133 hybrid rice variety (also known as NK Ningrat) and the NK Sakti biotechnology corn series, namely NK Perkasa Sakti, NK Pendekar Sakti, and NK Sumo Sakti. These corn products are designed with dual advantages: resistance to glyphosate herbicides and protection against stem borer attacks. In addition to seeds, the company also demonstrated crop protection solutions such as MIRAVIS Duo®, INCIPIO® 200 SC, and CUPRINOMAT.
To facilitate technical knowledge transfer, Syngenta introduced a creative approach titled "Syngenta Heroes." Through six educational characters representing various product solutions, farmers are invited to learn effective cultivation practices in a more interactive and easily understandable way. This initiative is part of the broader "Petani MAJU" vision, which encompasses increasing profitability, accelerating innovation, collaborative sustainability, and synergy among stakeholders.
President Director of Syngenta Indonesia, Eryanto, emphasized that the Petani MAJU vision reflects the company's dedication to addressing field challenges. During a training session on agribusiness digitalization development, he stressed the importance of technology adoption for the progress of Indonesian agriculture. Beyond education, the Syngenta booth also served as a dialogue space for various stakeholders, ranging from farmers to government officials, including discussions on the use of drone technology to support agricultural efficiency.
