Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) has officially reinforced its role in technology-based human resource development through the launch of its PhD Program in Informatics. This initiative comes as a response to the high demand for academics and researchers capable of generating innovative solutions amid the rapid pace of digital transformation in Indonesia.

Head of the UNM Jatiwaringin Campus, Sofian Wira Hadi, emphasized that doctoral-level education is a strategic intellectual investment. According to him, the program is designed to produce thinkers who not only master theoretical concepts but are also capable of applying research findings to address real-world challenges in society and the industrial sector.

The curriculum of this study program focuses on strategic fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, cloud computing, and big data analytics. This focus is expected to empower students to produce reputable scientific publications and technological innovations relevant to current national development needs.

In addition to strengthening research capabilities, students are equipped with academic leadership competencies and state-of-the-art research methodologies. The program provides broad opportunities for collaboration with both national and international institutions, preparing graduates to become innovators, technology consultants, and strategic decision-makers in the future.

As an institution embodying the identity of a Digital Business Campus, UNM is committed to continuously fostering a progressive research culture. Sofian hopes that the introduction of this program will inspire professionals and academics to contribute to advancing the nation's competitiveness through scientific work with a broad impact on global technological progress.
