The Regional Executive Board (DPW) of the People's Movement Party of DKI Jakarta has officially completed the legality phase of its organization. This step was marked by the submission of administrative documents to the Central Executive Board (DPP) after previously successfully obtaining a Registered Certificate (SKT) from the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Law. This achievement makes Jakarta the tenth province to successfully complete verification at the regional level.

Chairman of the DPW People's Movement Party of DKI Jakarta, Taufan Alatas, revealed that this success was the fruit of solid collaboration among all levels of management down to the grassroots level. Within three months, the party was able to fulfill administrative requirements with a score of 83 percent, surpassing the initial target set at 75 percent.

The strategic role of DKI Jakarta as the national seat of government is projected to become the main magnet in consolidating the party across Indonesia. Currently, the party has formed 42 out of the targeted 44 Branch Executive Boards (DPC) in Jakarta. The remaining setups in the Thousand Islands region are targeted for completion by June 2026, followed by the establishment of Sub-branch Executive Boards (DPRt) across 267 sub-districts before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the People's Movement Party, Sahrin Hamid, stated that nationally, 16 out of 38 provinces have obtained the SKT. His team is currently focusing on completing verification in the remaining 22 provinces. Once all provinces meet the administrative requirements, the party will immediately register with the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia to obtain national legal entity status.

Sahrin emphasized that Jakarta will serve as a symbol of struggle in the national registration process. Given that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights RI is located in the capital, all party elements in Jakarta will participate directly in delivering the registration documents as a sign of the People's Movement Party's readiness to face the political constellation of the 2029 Elections.
